Phoenix Lounge

Once upon a time, 1983 to be more precise, an experienced bar owner and lover of music named Turk Franken, opened the Legendary Phoenix Lounge (the home of live music) in Harrisburg, South Dakota. The rest is a continuing story that supports not only performers, but those seeking a safe place to enjoy live music.

Turk has hosted too many national and local acts to possibly list them all. Just like the name Phoenix implies, when the pandemic hit and bands stopped touring Turk brought in some of the most talented karaoke hosts and has never looked back. Hats off to you Mr. Franken.
