The South Dakota Rock & Roller's Hall of Fame Returns with a Battle of the Bands!

SIOUX FALLS - The South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association (SDRRMA) Induction Celebration is Friday and Saturday, September 24-25 in Sioux Falls at the Ramkota Exhibition Hall. New this year, six young groups will compete in a Battle of the Bands on Friday night to win $1,000 and a chance to open the Saturday evening induction show! Tickets are moving fast, but it's not too late to get great seats!

Relive the music of bands that shaped our South Dakota Rock and Roll culture! Nine great bands and nearly a dozen South Dakota Rock and Roll contributing rockers and venues will enter the Hall of Fame!

Additionally, Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Chris Gage and Gordy Zens.

        Friday September 24,  NEW this year … a Battle of the Bands!

Five young bands with incredible talent will compete to win $1,000 and to open the Saturday night induction ceremony.

  • Tickets for Friday’s Battle of the Bands are $20 each with kids under 12 getting in free. Battle at 7 PM.

Saturday, September 25, The 2021 South Dakota Rock & Rollers Hall of Fame Induction Celebration!

  • Meet the bands/autograph session 3-4 PM, FREE!
  • Doors open at 5 PM, ceremony at 6 PM.
  • General admission tickets to the induction ceremony are $35. Limited VIP tickets are $50 per person when purchased as a 10-seat table. Tickets and more info is online.

The South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association was started in late 2008 to promote and recognize those who’ve made South Dakota’s live music scene what it is. The SDRRMA non-profit board volunteers their time and energy into championing this mission.
